A joint celebration between Valley Rovers Ladies Football and Camogie Club took place Friday night in the Munster Arms with medal presentations to U13 and U14 teams. Medals were presented to our football teams by Mary Cremin who was voted Club Volunteer of the Year by the West Cork Board. Medals were presented to the U14C2 West Cork league winners and the U14B county championship team who were runners up. Awards were also presented to Alesha Cronin and Emma Fenton who represented Valleys on Cork teams in 2024. Camogie medals were presented by Clodagh Deasy who is on Cork Minor Camogie management team this year. Medals were presented to u13 Carrigdoun winners and to the u14B County runners up. Awards were also presented to Shona Cronin and Amy Holland for representing Valley Rovers on Cork teams. Eve O'Dwyer who was part of the 2024 Cork Minor team was unable to attend on the night. Club chairs Gary Buchan, Grace Whooley and Dermot Higgins welcomed everyone and congratulated all the girls on their achievements this past year.
